TIMETABLE The academic year is divided into 4 terms, with each term being 9 weeks in duration. There is a 2 week break between terms 1 and 2 and 3 and 4, and a 3 week break mid year between terms 2 and 3. There is a 8 week break between academic years. Full time students are required to attend 20 contact hours per week.
Certificate III in Media classes are conducted Monday and Thursday evening, between 4.00pm and 7.00pm. Students are provided with a 15 minute break. Classes that fall on a public holiday are re-scheduled to the first available Friday. Diploma of Screen and Media classes are conducted Monday to Thursday, between 9.00am and 3.00pm. Students are provided with a total of one hour of breaks each day. Classes that fall on a public holiday are re-scheduled to the first available Friday. Advanced Diploma of Screen and Media (2nd year) classes for the first two terms are conducted Wednesday to Friday, between 9.00am and 5.00pm. Students are provided with a total of one hour and twenty minutes of breaks each day. The final two terms are unscheduled production and post production time for the Major Project. Students are still required to attend a minimum of 20 hours per week.
