DIPLOMA OF SCREEN & MEDIA (CUF50107) This course specialises in film and television production. 1 Year Full Time Australian Residents have the option of studying 1 to 3 subjects per term on a part time basis. Overseas Students must study full time to fulfill student visa requirements. The Diploma of Screen and Media is an intensive one year full time course that covers all the major areas of production. Teaching is conducted face-to-face in a classroom environment that includes theory and practical work in the College studio. Students are provided with both supervised and unsupervised assignment tasks to develop their skills. A minimum of four productions are completed for the student’s showreel, drawn from a television commercial, documentary, television program, music video clip and 16mm film. The course duration is 36 weeks with students attending 20 contact hours per week. Classes are conducted Monday to Thursday 9.00am - 3.00pm, with some flexible days where industry field trips may be organised.
