Gold Coast Fashion Week

The Cutting Room Floor was engaged to cover the Gold Coast Fashion Week parades at the prestigious Gold Coast Arts Centre’s Paradise Room. Up to four cameras were rolling at any one time throughout the four day event, including the VIP evening featuring Richard De Chazal.

The Cutting Room Floor employed two of IFC's Diploma students to cover a team building day for the construction company THEISS. The event was organised by Micheal Fallon of 'Pubtasic' which involved racing catamarans around the Gold Coast broadwater and a BBQ on Wavebreak Island. This is what Michael had to say: "Following our initial consultation with Travis at IFC, the Event morning arrived with Alex & Jayden set up, ready to go. The boys spent the morning session being taken around to the various boats and crews, where they observed and filmed the clients enjoying their team building experience. Lunch followed on Wavebreak Island where the boys created many more shots and images of everyone relaxing at the BBQ enjoying a cold beer. The day culminated with the boys sailing on one of the yachts for the SS Minnow Cup - followed by drinks back at the Waterfront Tavern at Sanctuary Cove. Within a fortnight of the event, I received a copy of the fully edited short promo film - matched to fantastic tunes - that I have since used to secure my next client for a similar day out on the water.
